A Torch in Flame

My new book, published by Natula in July 2014, looks at the Great War from the perspective of five Hampshire cricketers who all, in their different ways, went off to take part in what became known as "the greatest game of them all". As Europe slid into the abyss in the late summer of 1914, these men answered the call, never dreaming that their world would change forever. After all, if the whole affair was to be over by Christmas, they would hardly miss much cricket, surely?
